Stoodley Arboretum is a lovely place to visit and relax.
The majority of the forest is up for logging later this year.
I want to see the arboretum preserved so people can continue to enjoy this special place.
I will provide more information soon about the proposed logging activity.
Have you visited the arboretum? Head out there and see for yourself. The arboretum is located on the western side of the Railton Road between Sheffield and Railton.
More information to come soon.
I want to see the arboretum preserved.

Hi Tim
ReplyDeleteThanks for setting up this site, looks great. My daughter and I often run through the pines and do balancing games on the fallen trees at Stoodley. In the past we have walked our dog, ridden bicycles and horses there. We love the fungi in autumn, kicking through the fagus leaves and getting spooked when it gets dark too early on winter afternoons. We also watch two geocaches in the area and walk on the Tasmanian trail above the arboretum. We don't want to see any part of what we know as "Stoodley Forest Reserve" logged.
